Prosecco Ilauri is produced exclusively with Glera grapes and fermented twice in stainless steel vats to preserve its fruitiness and floral characteristics.
It is enjoyed with a wide range of different dishes, and goes beautifully with lightly grilled vegetables, smoked salmon or Asian delights such as spring rolls, steamed ravioli and chow mein.
VINEYARD : the vineyards are situated in the Conegliano hills in the Trevisa region, north of Venice, at 120 meters above sea level.
SOILS : Clay and Moraine Lemon.
GRAPE : 100% Glera.
AVERAGE AGE OF VINEYARDS : 15 years.
VINIFICATION : Hand harvested, the first fermentation takes place with a first maceration of the skins. A second fermentation is carried out at low temperature in small stainless steel vats.
TASTING NOTES : Straw-lemon color with fine bubbles. A beautiful nose with fragrant aromas of ripe fruits with hints of apple, pear and apricot. In the mouth, a fresh and fruity flavor with a pleasant acidity and a very lively finish.
