THE ORIGINAL PINK GIN
A classic style of gin with rich complexity and a unique balance of citrus and spice notes.
As soon as you take it to your nose, you will immediately inspire fruity and floral notes, followed by the dry and powdered spice of cinnamon and underneath the cassia, a very seductive combination.
With a little water, immediately the sweet orange peel and juniper start to appear in the nose.
The palate is fruity-floral with a bitter grapefruit finish and a chocolaty flavor.
These sweet notes soften and open when combined with Tonic to produce an almost floral nose and a sugary plum flavor.
THE ORIGINS OF PINK
The color pink is created from the Dianthus flowers called 'Roses' and derives from the description of the "pink" border of flowers, first used as a noun in the 17th century;
Rose's association with Gin dates back to the 1800s when, in 1824, Dr. Johann Siegert invented Angostura Bitters, a dark red extract of gentiana and spices that was widely used by sailors to cure seasickness.
Adding Bitters to Gin started to be a habit of London's captains and posh bars, so the trend quickly caught on;
The "PINK GIN" was born.
