Description
Quinta Várzea da Pedra Grande Reserva is a red wine from the Lisbon region (DOC Óbidos), known for its intensity and complexity, produced from the Syrah and Touriga Nacional grape varieties.
Produced from a blend of Syrah and Touriga Nacional, it delights us with a A very intense ruby color, and it delights us with an aroma of red fruits well integrated with notes of spices, smoke, tobacco and dark chocolate .
On the palate, it is intense, complex, structured, with good freshness and a very long and persistent finish.
Winemaking and Aging : The grapes are destemmed and fermented in lagares (traditional stone troughs) using the traditional foot treading method.
The wine undergoes a long aging process, which can last up to 42 months in barrels, depending on the vintage.
