Shipping and refund policy

Your order will be prepared within 24 hours of payment and shipped on the next business day. We use the best carriers so that you can receive your product in just a few days.

Delivery Times

  • For domestic shipments our delivery time is between 1 and 2 business days
  • For shipments to Spain our delivery time is between 1 and 3 business days
  • For Europe our delivery time is between 2 and 4 business days
  • For UK our delivery time is between 3 and 7 business days
  • For the Rest of the World our delivery time is between 7 and 21 business days

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of 14 February, which transposes Directive 2011/83/EU on distance contracts, the Consumer Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the goods, without the need to indicate any reason and without any penalty.

This right applies to all items, including those purchased on promotion, without any restriction or additional condition.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify WINE-TIME EUROPE LDA, within the 14-day period indicated, by an unequivocal statement sent via:

The Customer may use the model withdrawal form provided in Annex B of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, although its use is not mandatory.

Effects of exercising the right of withdrawal

  • The Customer must return the goods to WINE-TIME EUROPE LDA within a maximum of 14 days from the date of communication of the decision to withdraw from the contract.
  • WINE-TIME EUROPE LDA will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which it became aware of the withdrawal decision, and may delay this refund until receipt of the returned goods or proof of their dispatch.
  • The refund will be made using the same payment method that the Customer used in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
  • The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the Customer.
  • The goods must be returned in their original packaging, without signs of use and in a condition fit for resale.

Additional applicable conditions

Without prejudice to the legal right of withdrawal referred to above, we additionally offer, as a commercial gesture, the possibility of exchanging defective or damaged items:

  • If you receive a defective or damaged item, contact us at info@wine-time.biz within 30 days.
  • The item to be exchanged must be in the same condition as received and in its original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR / RAL)

Under Portuguese Law No. 144/2015, of 8 September, in case of a consumer dispute, the Consumer Customer may resort to a Consumer Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity:

Return of defective goods

The legal warranty of conformity is 3 years under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 84/2021. If you receive a defective item, contact us at info@wine-time.biz indicating the order number and the nature of the defect.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. WINE-TIME EUROPE LDA is not responsible for losses during return shipping.


Customs Charges (shipments outside the European Union)

Key points on customs charges:

  • Application of VAT and Duties: All products shipped outside the European Union are subject to VAT and possible customs charges, regardless of their value in the recipient's destination country.
  • What the customer pays: VAT (on the value of the goods + shipping), customs duties, and customs clearance service fees.
  • Refusal of payment: If the recipient refuses to pay the charges, the order may be destroyed or returned to the sender, in which case the return shipping costs will also be charged to the Customer/Buyer.
  • Responsibility: The importer (the buyer) is the party causing the entry of the goods into the country, being legally responsible for declaring the goods and paying the taxes required by the Tax Authority of the destination country.
