Description
The result of a strong effort, the Chasse-Spleen 2021 delights our eyes with a deep garnet color.
It displays a bouquet of red berries intertwined with fresh mint, curry spice, and linden blossom.
After stirring: Notes of blackcurrant and cherry emerge against a mineral background. The attack is energetic, exhibiting smoothness on the palate and power without excessive opulence. The tannins are fine, delicately interwoven, and almost chalky.
Medium to full-bodied, smooth and harmonious, it is lively and refined, with ripe tannins and a penetrating, saline finish.
It is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 9% Petit Verdot, and only 55% of the estate's production went to grand vin.
