Belair is an elegant, uncomplicated wine endowed with an aromatic finesse, the result of the work of an artist named Pascal Delbeck. Today this Château belongs to the MOUEIX family, owner of the world acclaimed wine, Château Pétrus and is renamed Château Bélair-Monange.
Made from organically grown grapes and made with a non-interventionist protocol, including manual work and only natural yeasts, Château Bélair offers the pure expression of the Saint-Émilion terroir. while the smoke and spices float, exotically.
A cheerful acidity, velvety tannins and a striking structure complete the profile of Chateau Belair.
Sweet fruit, smoke and floral aromas engage in a delicate dance; however, the serious structure of the 2007 guides this waltz with a commanding hand.
The result is an elegant, intense and powerful wine.
An incredible 1st Grand Cru Saint-Émilion red.
