Almost black in color, the nose reveals a rich and ripe expression of concentrated black fruit, with hints of spice and licorice.
In the mouth, the wine manages to combine great intensity and maturation of the fruit with a remarkable sensation of balance and freshness.
The tannins are densely united, the texture velvety, the finish shows a persistent fruity and vibrant acidity giving a final touch of freshness.
Despite coming from one of the hottest vintages, 2017 can be considered a very typical Masseto in its unmistakable combination of richness and elegance.
